Vector Data Introduces Vault AFF A250 Data Storage Powered by NetApp
Vector Data announced the availability of Vault AFF A250 data storage powered by NetApp ONTAP software.
Vector Data’s Vault AFF A250 all-flash NVMe system, based on the NetApp AFF A250 storage appliance, provides telcos with the highest data storage performance to accelerate their mission-critical application needs.
The Vault AFF A250, which is available with -48 VDC or 100-240 VAC power supplies, can be deployed at any site, including central office, edge, and RAN. Vault A250 is also available with optional NEBS Level 3, ETSI and ATT-TP-76200 certifications and other global telecom certifications.
Vector Data’s Vault AFF A250 uses a 2U shallow-depth chassis small enough to deploy to edge or RAN sites. An optional dust filter frame allows the system to be deployed in dusty environments. The system supports 24 internal NVMe drives and an additional 24 NVMe drives with a 2U expansion shelf.
Vector Data said the Vault AFF A250 is a perfect choice for 5G and NFV deployments. Ransomware protection, S3 compatibility, storage efficiency including compression and deduplication, high-performance data mirroring, and space-saving data cloning are some of the many features of the solution.
